Quote of the Week 2-2-2026
“Hard workouts build strong bodies, but shared workouts build strong people”
NEWS
Welcome back friends! January was COLD. Snow and freezing weather means easy excuses to not hit the WOD. There is a lot special about our place but one of the things that really gets me excited to lift, even on the coldest days, is our Saturdays. I am SO damn proud that we have been able to effectively blend the world’s best Strongman crew with the Group Fitness Monster Mash. I wanted to use this blog to invite you to bring a friend to the fun…
There’s something different about Saturdays at the gym. The energy is higher, the music is louder, and the workouts bring out the best effort from everyone in the room. That’s exactly why our Monster Mash Saturday workouts have become a member favorite, and why now is the perfect time to bring a friend with you.
If you’ve ever thought that someone you know would enjoy the workouts you’ve been doing, this is your chance to invite them and share the experience.
Monster Mash Saturdays are designed to be high-energy, team-driven, and suitable for all fitness levels. Each session blends strength, conditioning, and cardio into one focused workout. The format changes regularly, the stations rotate, and the pace keeps things engaging from start to finish. It’s not just training. It’s an experience, and experiences are better when shared.
Working out with a friend is not only more fun, it also helps you perform better and stay more consistent. When you train with someone you know, you tend to push a little harder, rest a little less, and stay more motivated throughout the workout. Friendly accountability and shared effort make a real difference. Many Monster Mash workouts include partner and team elements already, so bringing a friend fits perfectly with the way these sessions are built.
Monster Mash is also a great entry point for first-timers. Trying a new gym or class alone can feel intimidating. Walking in with a friend removes much of that stress. When your guest comes with you, they immediately feel more comfortable and supported. They have a familiar face nearby and someone to guide them between stations if needed. Our coaching staff will take care of everything else, including exercise demonstrations, scaling options, and movement guidance. No prior experience is required. No one needs to “get in shape first.” They just need to show up ready to move.
Let your friend know they can expect a full-body workout, clear instruction, and options that match their ability level. They can expect a welcoming environment, supportive coaching, and a strong sense of community. They should not worry about being too slow, out of shape, or unfamiliar with the exercises. Every workout can be adjusted, and every coach is there to help.
If you are not sure how to invite someone, keep it simple. Tell them your gym runs a high-energy Saturday workout that is challenging and fun, and that you want them to join you this weekend. Let them know you will be there with them the whole time.
Monster Mash Saturdays are about effort, energy, and community. When you bring a friend, you help grow all three. Invite someone this week and show up together. We will take care of the workout. You just bring the extra person. See you Saturday!
