Quote of the Week 8-24-2026

“Everyone is jealous of what you got. Nobody is jealous of how you got it”

NEWS

Welcome back friends! I don’t know about you guys but I am SO ready to get back to routine. Summer has a way of throwing everyone's mojo off. Vacations happen, the kids are home, weekends fill up, there are BBQs, trips, late nights, and plenty of reasons to tell yourself: “Oh, I'll get back into it when summer is over.” Well…summer is almost over. And this is one of the best times of the year to reset.

I am damn ready for hoodies and a massive Winter Arc. That being said, one of the biggest mistakes people make after a busy summer is thinking they need some dramatic comeback. I am telling you right now that you don’t. You don't need two-a-days. You don't need a detox. You don't need to punish yourself for the ice cream, vacations, missed workouts, or weekends away. You just need to start showing up again or keep showing up.

Fitness isn't built from a perfect week. It's built from hundreds of pretty good weeks stacked on top of each other. Three or four workouts this week…Then do it again next week…and again the next. Boring as hell but that's where the results come from. So as school starts and schedules become more predictable, this is a great time to decide when you're going to train. Don't wait until you “find time.” Pick your days! Put them on the damn calendar. Treat that hour the same way you would treat any other important appointment- your health deserves a spot on the schedule too. And if you've been away for a couple of weeks, don't worry about where you left off. That's what your Coaches are here for. Walk through the door and we'll help you from there.

I am encouraging you all to start this Winter Arc with me now and begin to build momentum ASAP. For me, there's something about this time of year that feels like a second January. I love fresh starts and this is one. We finally get a few solid months where we can really put some work in. End of August and start of September can be incredibly productive months in the gym. What we do now sets the tone for the rest of the year. And remember: you don't need some huge fitness goal to make progress. Maybe your goal is simply: three classes every week. That's enough! Do that consistently and let the Programming and Coaching take care of the rest.

If you've trained all summer, keep rolling. If you've been inconsistent, now is the time to change that. If you've been completely away, come back. The door is always open and your Coaches are ready. Your training partners will be happy to see you.
